He has put all things under the feet of Christ for the benefit of the church. We are his body. If all things are under his feet then all things are under our feet. His reign is for our benefit. His exaltation is for our benefit. Christ is our high place.
I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.
He continues to say that “There shall they lie in a good fold.” Here, he describes the fold as a good fold. We already established that the fold is Christ who is our dwelling place. Christ is a good dwelling place.
He goes on to describe what he means by a good fold. He says, it is a fat pasture. This means that Christ is a dwelling place filled with riches. In this dwelling place, we are abundantly supplied. We have all our needs met. There’s no lack. Our dwelling place is filled with the riches of his glory.
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
We have no need of righteousness, holiness, glory, power, anointing, faith, love, peace, joy etc. We have all these at our disposal. These are our spiritual blessings. Christ is the sum of all these blessings. He is our blessing.
It is important to note that Christ is not out of touch with our physical realm. As our spiritual blessing, he affects or influences our physical lives as we develop a consciousness of him as our blessing. Good health, provision, flourishing businesses, a happy family etc are not the blessings per say. Christ is the blessing. These things, therefore, are the effects of our blessing who is Christ.
We have Christ as our blessing and he affects everything that concerns us as we become more conscious of him. Hallelujah!
