Notice that God does all of these things. Ours is just to enjoy. This is grace. This is the order of the New Covenant. It is according to the grace of God and not our works.
2 Timothy 1:9
who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Being in Christ is not by our works but by his grace. We don’t just get saved by grace through faith; we are kept saved by grace through faith. We enjoy the abundant provisions of God by grace through faith. We relate to God by grace through faith. And the result is that we express his nature and goodness to our world.
These are the beauties of Christ as our inheritance. He is our good pasture. In him, we have satisfaction. He is our fold (dwelling place). As our fold, he is our exalted place. We dwell with him on the mountain top. We are seated with him in heavenly places. He is also a good fold. And in him, God has caused us to rest. From this point of rest, we manifest Christ to our world.
In any situation, remember that you have all of Christ in you. Remember that you lack nothing in him. You are abundantly fed in him. You have satisfaction in him. So don’t run helter skelter in search of something that will make you complete. Don’t go about in search of fulfillment. You have already been fed with the goodness of God. Your satisfaction is in Christ.
Again note that you have been made to rest on the mountain top. You don’t have to try to earn righteousness, holiness or goodwill from God. You have all these in Christ.
On the high mountain is your dwelling place. Realise that everything that is not of Christ is under your feet and is already defeated. Since they are already defeated, from the exalted place, you enforce your authority in Christ. You enforce the will of God in every situation.
Beloved, Christ is your inheritance. He is a good inheritance. He is all that you will ever need. Look away from all things and fix your eyes on only him and enjoy all the goodness in him.
You are deeply loved!
