One thing you would notice about God is that he is not reactive. He doesn’t wait for things to happen before he provides a solution. He knows all that is needed for the fulfillment of his plan and make provision for them beforehand. It is, therefore, wrong to assert that the creation of the woman was not the original idea of God because the man was created before the woman.
That would mean to say that God reacted to a need, however, that was not the case. If God created the woman, then it was his intention long ago to create her irrespective of the period he chose to create her.
Again, to say that a woman is not the original idea of God is to say that the church is not the original idea of God. This is because the creation of the woman out of the man is very symbolic of the creation of the church out of Christ.
KJV Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, *created in Christ Jesus* unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
The church was not created with anything different from Christ. The church was created in Christ. That means that the church was in Christ and was birthed after his resurrection. That in no way makes the church an afterthought.
As I said earlier, God doesn’t react to situation. He is not reactive, he is proactive. He creates all that he would create and set a time for their fulfillment. So it is not as if God created Adam and later realized that he was alone and saw the need to create a partner for him. That would suggest that God was taken aback by the situation and decided to implement a solution as soon as possible. No! That was never the case…
