Does this mean we can sin all we want? No, understand that because our relationship is enacted by his life, Christ lives through us. Doing good works, therefore, should not should be difficult for a Christian when we realize that it is Christ living through us. Our old life is dead and we have a new life in Christ Jesus

KJV Galatians 2:20

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

We live by trusting in him. We set our minds on him. We entertain the realities of our new life in Christ.

KJV Colossians 3:1-3

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Through this way, we recognize who we are. Once we recognise who we are, we are able to live it. We produce the fruit of the Spirit.

KJV Ephesians 5:8-9

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:  (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

KJV Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Knowing that our relationship with God is eternal doesn’t mean we can live anyhow. It actually means that we need to acknowledge who we are and live that way.

We live in a way befitting to our new life; our new nature in Christ. By this, we let our light shine so that others will see the father in us.

Living in a way befitting to our new life is not only in our conduct but also in preaching the gospel boldly, laying hands on the sick, giving to those in needs and every other thing that ministers Christ to others.

This is our life and we live it to the fullest through Christ Jesus, our Lord. Let your heart be settled in this: you can’t lose your relationship with God or your salvation, so instead of living in fear of that, rather focus on renewing your mind so that you can express the virtues of God that is in you. Beloved, you don’t need a do-over.

You are deeply loved!
